Annual report 2012 www.recope.com
Should be analyzed separately gasoline sales Barranca Plantel
for 2012 versus 2011 and 2010, being the only campus where
gasoline sells Plus 91 with additions of ethanol. The behavior
demonstrated a 14.52% (-11.777 m³) decrease in sales for this
period in regards to Plus 91, relative to sales in 2011, and a
2.56% (1.727 m³) increase in 2011 (when compared with 2010).
Total terminals and airport sales behavior varies for different
products in 2012. The Daniel Oduber Quirós Airport in Liberia
was the only campus with increases in both reference periods;
4.33% and 23.70%, with comparison to 2011 and 2010
respectively.
The relative share and distribution of sales per campus during
2012 was as follows: La Garita 26.23%, El Alto 24.42%; Moin
24.07%, Barranca 18.28%, Juan Santamaria International Airport
5.63%, the Daniel Oduber Airport in Liberia 1.22%, Tobias
Bolaños Airport 0.14% and Limon Airport 0.01%. Sales at the
Moin Campus differ significantly from the sales in other sites,
as it only distributes LPG and IFOS. Gasoline and Diesel are the
main products in la Garita and El Alto and Barranca. Although
Barranca second also has an asphalt and asphalt emulsions
plant.
Sales in the Barranca terminal have increased because ICE has
purchased several products for thermal generation, and they
are using the Garabito Campus for such purposes.
A December 2012 inventory showed storage supplies of 36 days
for gasoline, 33 days for diesel, 31 days of Jet A-1, nine days of
LPG, 35 days of bunker and 30 days of asphalt.
Pipeline: Racking Capacity
The overall pipeline utilization factor is maintained at an
average of 65.96%, thereby reducing transportation costs, CO2
emissions and pressure on the road network.
When analyzing the individual situation of each of the lines that
make up the system, it may be determined that in some cases
working times reach close to 65.96%, as is the case for lines 3
and 4 that connect El Alto, La Garita and Barranca terminals.
