By the end of the term, the final balance in accounts
totaled ¢71,324 million, while for the year 2012 the amount
was ¢34,813. These resources are partly committed, as they
originate from deposits performed by clients for purchasing
fuels (differed income) and to fulfill obligations with fuel
providers, to be paid in a term of 30 days, as well as the
balance for income placed in bonds required to continue with
the ongoing investment projects.
It is also important to note that in the year 2013, the
budget considered a budget modification in the amount of
¢74,585 million and another one for ¢11,215 million, which
were added as an expansion of the maximum expending limit
for the company, mainly required for strategic investments.
Two important elements for this termare the growth
in payments disbursed for municipal taxes, particularly the
Municipality of Goicoechea for a settlement and to Limón
for a change in the calculation parameters, as well as taxes
