“Fire Fighting Refinery System Stage III”
This project focuses on placing pipes for the fire system. The
budget execution amounted up to ¢593.66 million (US $1.18
million) on the 31st of December of 2012, from a revised budget
of ¢680.20 million (US $1.35 million).
“Moin Patio loaders”
This project includes new tanks, loaders and Sales and
Distribution Campus offices in Moin. The purpose is to improve
circulation to the carriers within the plant and allow greater
maneuverability for tanks inside.
“Underload-discharge” technology will be provided to
customers so as to facilitate self-service and greater fluid product
discharge; the speed will be four times greater and there will be
independence regarding clean product storage and ethanol.
The project also involves improvements in instrumentation,
pump monitoring, fire control and treatment of oily water. All
mechanical, electrical and civil works are designed by RECOPE.
In 2012 a budget execution of ¢2.921.25 million (US $4.54
million) from ¢2768.39 million (US $5.48 million) was carried
out. The execution on the contractor´s behalf is very slow.
However, by the 31st of December, 2012, it showed a 91%
increase with regards to the year’s projections.

“El Alto-La Garita Oily
water separators”
Budget execution up to the 31st of December of 2012 was
¢332.54 million (US $0.66 million) from a revised budget of
¢473.74 million (US $0.94 million). Culmination of the project
occurred on the 31st of December of 2012 as the project´s
physical progress had reached 100%.
