Annual report 2012 www.recope.com
A closed television circuit (CCTV) and access monitoring system
installed in Barranca and La Garita terminals permits filming
and transmitting images to monitors set up in a monitoring
center, thus allowing an improving the safety of staff, visitors
and facilities in these terminal. The system was designed by
Microtronics, and staff from RECOPE´s departments of Safety
and Security and Information Technology.
The system allows safeguarding of the entire periphery of the
campus, fuel dispensing and access, thus avoiding hazards
and accidents in the facility by prohibiting trespassers from
wandering in unauthorized areas of RECOPE´s production
processes. The system features high-tech cameras with a
broad scope and motion that also allow surveillance in low
light conditions via wireless transmission devices for security
applications (to be extended to other RECOPE facilities.
CLOSED TELEVISION CIRCUIT ACCESS MONITORING
promotes their alignment with government guidelines
to reduce paper use, promote new digital services to
customers, and enter the Digital Government.
The project completed its development and testing phase
to production passes. The pilot, with a selection of clients,
is scheduled for 2013, with the idea of extending its use
gradually.
The site will allow for the billing pre fuel sales, the
payment (using SINPE services) and the programming of
his office, recording real-time transactions executed on
the site.
Internally also the Digital Map System (Cordigital) is
systematically managing 66.66% of all documents
generated in RECOPE, which has helped reduce the use
of paper by 23%.
Another initiative implemented in the year is managing
scanned files, which are able to automate a Content
Management solution (with a Software called Alfresco)
that puts the pursuit of digitized information easy reach
of users. This is an addition to other actions that have
minimized the use of paper, such as cordigital service,
removing printers and Digital Signature.
With respect to data processing scheme was implemented
server virtualization in San José, Limón and in places
where they are located distribution terminals and sales.
