PARTICIPATION IN INTER COMPARISONS
The National Metrology Laboratory, Volume Mass and was part
of an inter-regional comparison of volume 100 cm ³ and 20 dm
³, which participated as co-pilot of the same with the National
Metrology Center of Mexico (CENAM). In addition to Mexico
and Costa Rica, Nicaragua participated, Panama and Honduras.
In October, representatives of RECOPE test results presented in
Mexico, which were satisfactory.
NUMBER OF CALIBRATIONS
The Enterprise Metrology Laboratory calibrations made 545
in the magnitudes time, temperature, pressure, density and
calibration instruments non-automatic weighing. In addition to
services provided in the laboratory and in situ.
The Transfer Metrology Laboratory carried out 227 flow
magnitude calibrations. Flowmeters were calibrated at points of
sale (thus having legal scope) at: El Alto de Ochomogo, Garita,
Barranca, Refinery, Tobias Bolanos Airport, Juan Santamaría
Airport and Daniel Oduber Airport.
The National Metrology Mass and Volume Laboratory carried
141 calibrations of mass and volume, 39 of these calibrations
were for customers external to RECOPE, and a total
US $16.025
was billed for these services and incorporated into RECOPE´s
Other Incomes Account.
