SITRAPEQUIA a meeting with representatives of the Federation
of Workers of Limón (FETRAL), to whom he became project
exposure. Roland honored FETRAL Esna. The meeting came in
the context of an appointment RECOPE Association and was
invited to participate in order to present the project and its
benefits to the province of Limón. The subject was treated with

la República (CGR) of the Republic, Ombudsman, Autoridad
Reguladora de Servicios Públicos (ARESEP), public universities,
development associations, churches, trade unions, professional
(journalists, economics, lawyers, engineers and architects),
media managers, Fuel Business Chamber, Development Agency
of Limón, national media and Limón.
RECOPE resumed programmed visits to the communities
surrounding the pipeline in February, so as to transmit
information about prevention and the operation of this
distribution network throughout the country. The first meeting
of the year 2012 was with Fire Department officials and security
forces of Puntarenas.
The objective of the ongoing re-education for municipalities
and communities program is to inform institutions, companies
and local leaders, involved in crisis attention, of emergency
prevention plans, associated with the pipeline system and
safety issues to be considered when works are carried out in
close vicinity to it.
In August induction was members of the delegation the Cruz
Roja Costarricense and San Mateo Orotina in order to be
prepared to meet a possible emergency that may occur due to
rupture of the pipeline, theft or fuel spill.
The Cruz Roja is one of the main allies of RECOPE when it comes
to emergencies, so in the program of visits to the communities
to communicate with the living forces, was regarded as one of
the most important working groups to receive prevention talk
and information.
The experts responsible for providing induction were the
Geographer Julieta Flores and Mr. Alvaro Barboza, who l also
address issues of emergency attention security and programs,
responding to the concerns of the participants especially on
the timing of intervention of the Cruz Roja and scene safety,
among others.
