For the ninth consecutive year RECOPE figure in the overall
ranking published by the magazine América Economía
occupying 26th place among the major state enterprises in
Central America and the site 208 of the top 500 companies in
Latin America, which highlights the contribution RECOPE makes
the competitiveness of Costa Rica in the region.
According to this study that evaluates more than 3,000
companies, outsells RECOPE companies like INTEL (Costa Rica),
ICE (Costa Rica), Panama Canal Authority (Panama), and Copa
Airlines (Panama), in that respective order .
