The construction of 8 tanks is
currently taking place: two of
these with a capacity to store
25 Mbbls of Jet Fuel (each) in
Barranca termianl, four tanks with
storage capacity of 50 Mbbls each
(two for regular gasoline and
two for diesel) in the La Garita
termianal, and two tanks with a
storage capacity of 35 Mbbls of
Storage:
regular gasoline each at El Alto
campus.
Adjustments are also being
executed, such as the change
of two 91 Plus gas tanks with
a capacity of 3,975 m3 (25,000
barrels) each, which are being
enabled to store Jet A1, and tanks
that stored Jet A1 have now been
replaced by super gasoline tanks.
This increases the storage capacity
of super gasoline in La Garita
campus by 20 thousand barrels,
thus getting closer to meeting
the increased demand. La Garita
receives products transported
by the pipeline, and pumps to
Barranca.
