This
project
covers
the
construction of a new sphere,
six horizontal vessels and four
spheres have been allotted. Upon
completion of the three contracts
pertaining the SAGAS Project;
installed storage capacity and
inventory of Liquefied Petroleum
Gas (LPG) will increase from 10
500 m3 (65 000 barrels) to 24 500
m3 (154 000 barrels).
Important advances have been
made in the construction of a
storage area with a capacity for
25,000 barrels, assembly and
welding was completed along
with
respective
radiography
tests. Further heat treatment was
applied.
Six horizontal vessels have been
properly installed; these add
9,000 barrels of storage capacity.
The other 4 vessels will have
an individual capacity of 4000
m3 (25,000 barrels) plus piping
and pumping systems for the
import, storage, transfer, sale,
instrumentation, fire protection
and control as well as connection
with existing systems.
