Total JET A-1 fuel for the year 2013 decreased by
6.80% (14,543 cubic meters) with regards to total sales for
the year 2012. The decrease in the product sales from 2012
to 2013 is due to market prices in other international airports.
Jet A-1 fuel sales participation is the following: 94.19% by
aviation clients, 3.5% by international governments and
2.31% by other clients. For the year 2013, total Jet A-1 fuel
sales were distributed as follows: 96.67% in the four airports
(Juan Santamaría with 78.07%, Daniel Oduber Q with 17.12%,
Tobías Bolaños with 1.45% and the airport in Limon with
0.03%) and 3.33% for La Garita terminal.
TERMINALS AND AIRPORTS
The following chart shows annual sales for terminals and airports for the
year 2013 vs. 2012. It can be observed that terminals and airports increased their
sales from one year to the other: La Garita by 2.39% (18,665 cubic meters), El Alto
by 2.36% (17,181 cubic meters), Barranca by 13.05% (17,035 cubic meters). The
international airport located in Limón increased sales by 80.43% (37 cubic meters).
