He holds a Licentiate Degree in Chemical Engineering fromUCR and a Master´s Degree in
Business Administration, majoring in Marketing, and a Master´s Degree in Business Administration,
majoring in Finances from Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (ITCR). He was also head of the Ports
Department and director of Operational Services for the Refinery Department.

He holds a Licentiate Degree in Economics and a Master´s Degree in Business
Administration, majoring in Bank and Finances, from UCR. He has the credentials to act as a stock
broker for the National Stock Exchange (BNV). He acts as a Senior Account Executive in Banco de
Costa Rica (BNCR) and as an Account Executive and assistant to the General Manager in Banco
Hipotecario de la Vivienda (BANHVI). He is also the Manager of Mutual Valores, S.A. and Mutual
Fondos de Inversión. Other positions: stock broker for BN Valores Puesto de Bolsa, S.A., General
Manger for Popular Valores Puesto de Bolsa, S.A., for Central American Money Market Brokers
(CAMMB) and Lafise Valores Puesto de Bolsa, as well as a consultant for Grupo Bursátil Aldesa.
