He is chemical engineer who graduated from Universidad Interamericana de Costa Rica.
He worked as a profession in the Project Formulation Department and in RECOPE´S Planning
Directorate. He is a professor of Unitary Operations. He holds a Master´s Degree in Management
and Environmental Studies from Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica (UNA).

He holds a Licentiate Degree in Civil Engineering from UCR and a Master´s Degree in
Project Management from the (ICAP). He worked as a professional in the Engineering Department,
the Port Administration Board and the Economic Development of the Atlantic Coast of Costa Rica
(JAPDEVA). He was also head of the Construction Department in RECOPE.
