RECOPEANNUALREPORT2014
Storage levels are directly related to the average daily inventory for the
product obtained for the year 2014.
With regards to product storage, the distribution terminals and other
points of sales kept an average of 53.35%of their maximum capacity. For operational
reasons (mixing, transportation, special requirements for some products, etc.), the
Terminals always must have free capacity (installed capacity for production not used
by the company) for efficiently handling their inventory (approximately between
40%and 50%).
It is important to highlight that the storage capacity at the Refinery, , at the
year 2014 closing consisted of 62 service tanks (including spheres and cylinders for
LPG), with a total storage capacity of 354,438 m3 (2,229,347 barrels).
Note: T
he average days of inventory for each product takes into consideration the total capacity of the refinery
and the various Terminals overseen by the Distribution and Sales Management.
