Greater impact projects
Expansion of storage capacity in the distribution Terminals in 320,000
barrels
Eight tanks, built by Isiven, located at the Barranca, La Garita and El Alto de
Ochomogo Terminals. Total cost is US$35.4million and it is expected to be operational
in the year 2015.
The Jet Fuel storage tanks in Barranca (812 and 813) started construction
phase, reaching a level of progress of 71%; the slabs were cast against existing
loading docks, stormwells were connected and hydrostatic testing began. In addition,
work was performed on the pump shed, as well as building the bridges and electrical
systems.
At the El Alto Terminal the project
advanced 62%. The main progress occurred in
the solder tank 108. Also, the slab was placed, as
well as the screen for multiple valves and filters,
bridges, electrical conduits and transfer lines
were also constructed.
As for the tanks located in La
Garita, progress came to 41%, with a delay
of 14% approval time in the processing of
building permit. The progress made included the
replacement of land, improving soil and walls of
the dam. The tank floor and the first ring of the
tanks 526 and 527 and the cathode protection,
were also installed.
