Calibration and assay services offered and their evaluation
Regarding calibration and test services provided by the laboratories, the
following details for quantity of services requested and performed in each Quality
Assurance Department is presented.
In 2014, these services were evaluated by the clients with satisfactory
results.
New accredited tests that expand the services offered
The Quality Assurance Department has paid particular attention to the
accreditation and follow up of the tests that are considered a priority for clients and
the country as a whole, such as the determination of octane in gasoline, quantification
of odorant (ethyl mercaptan) in LPGgas and the penetration in asphalt, aswell as other
methods contemplated in the Central American Technical Regulations regarding fuel
quality.
RECOPEhasalwaysguaranteedcompliancewith-intheconcentrations set
forth in the Central American Technical Regulations by keeping these determinations
accredited under the INTE-ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard, with the additional support
and guarantee of the results reported by its laboratories. For this reason, the following
work was performed during the year 2014.
