Also, I want to thank the investors that have believed in the
importance of these works for the country and who have contributed
through the acquisition of bonds issued by the Company and placed
in the Stock Market. Your contribution is fundamental for financing the
aforementioned investments.
We have done our best to develop these infrastructure
projects, which update and modernize a system which allows us to
ensure the fuel supply required for the country in order to advance, as
is established in the mission undertaken by RECOPE since its creation.
Additional to the aforementioned, since this Board of Directors took
office, we have developed concrete actions in the search of improved
efficiency and efficacy in management, which is reflected in the
financial statements that are published in this document.
These efforts included the careful review of the expenses
structure, with direct attention to matters over which RECOPE exercises
control. Additionally, we searched for ways to minimize the effect over
those external factors which cannot be controlled and that have a
significant impact on RECOPE´S substantive activities.
Always moving in this direction, we started processes
for negotiation between employers and syndicates regarding the
Collection Work Convention incentives. Therefore, a full analysis was
presented, hoping to concrete agreements during the year 2015, which
truly reflect the reality of the country. In this regard, we cannot forget
that RECOPE is a company that must ensure availability of trained and
adequately compensated human resources, if it wishes to maintain the
quality and human capacities that the company has kept to this day.
Therefore, we have complied with the provisions contained
in the law regarding expenses control and management of public
funds that have been placed under our management, and of which we
must account for within the framework of transparency and ethics that
we are committed to uphold.
Included in this corporate memory are the most significant
matters developed during this term and that were oriented toward
strengthening the company, coupled with the technological initiatives
that have made it possible to contribute to the “zero paper” and
accessibility policy detailed in this document.
