Financial and InvoicingModule (SD) for SIG for the IT Department
Important improvement opportunities were reported to the President,
with regards to operations and security of the Integrated Management System (SIG),
as well as the Financial Module (FI) and the Sales and Invoicing Module (SD).
Fuel port projects and SAGAS
Improvement opportunities were notified to Higher Management,
aimed at achieving a more timely and accurate account of responsibilities by project
managers to members of the board of RECOPE.
Of the fuel purchasing process
Management was informed about weaknesses in inventory management
by seasonality for some products, in order to improve and comply with current
guidelines. Also, improvement opportunities were detected for the inspection of
independent contracts and quality tests requested, prior to unloading product.
Aviation fuel transportation process
In order to decrease the risk of accidents in Terminals and public roads,
weaknesses in fuel transportation in tanker trucks were identified, as well as it the
inspection activities performed in the loading and unloading Terminals, for the
verification of compliance with the Central American Technical Regulations and the
current legislation regarding aviation fuel for transported products.
Pre-invoicing of sales system (PetroWeb)
Improvement opportunities were detected with regards to IT project
planning and development and the mechanisms to determine operational
infrastructure.
Project formulation process
Recommendations were issued to Management regarding improvement
in supervision and control during the formulation of strategic investment and
operational projects, as well as public works and pre-investment phases.
Transferring of products between Terminals
Improvement opportunities were identified and communicated with
regards to control and process optimizationwhile transferring fuel between Terminals,
to ensure fuel supply.
Risk exposure
Assessment of travel expenses, transportation, representation and allowances for
members of the Board of Directors
Recommendations were issued regarding some risk situations related to
payment of allowances.
