Department.
This
department is responsible for
providing technical assistance
to service stations and industrial
customers
throughout
the
country via monthly scheduled
visits.
There were approximately 200
gas stations at the time, and
department had sales inspectors
and mechanics to check storage
tanks that were often found to be
cracked, full of mud and water.
The mechanics were responsible
for cleaning in order to ensure that
the product reached customers
with the same quality it had when
it came out of the sales campus.
A control of the amount of waste
that was removed from each tank
was recorded and used to raise the
owner´s awareness of the need to
invest in new tanks.
Professionals
and
inspectors
helped the station comply with
all of a service stations safety
handling rules and procedures.
Along with the mechanics,
they were responsible for price
adjustments
throughout
the
country.
Furthermore, in order to improve
the Company´s negative image
held
by
customers,
client
workshops and seminars were
carried out along with visits to; the
oil exploration facilities, the Moin
docks, the refinery, the quality
control laboratories and some of
the campuses, in order for clients
to become familiarized with the
activity and aid, alongside with
RECOPE, in the task of educating
the final customer when he
arrived at the service station to fill
his vehicle.
