In order to ensure recruitment, development,
stability and permanence of the ideal staff for various areas of
the company, to allow reaching corporate goals, the following
projects were developed for these areas during the year 2013:
Digital improvements
During the year 2013, in coordination with the IT
Department, the implementation of the Digital Support
Report and Digital Request Procedurewere implemented.
Improvements were also implemented for the “Brand
System”, for automated downloading.
Goods and Services management started two
projects related to access cards and feed services. These
projects motivated the use of access cards as the new ID,
which was consolidated in 2013.
Order and scanning of staff files is in progress, to be
included in the ALFRESCO platform.
Data Center
Important progress was made in the development
of the new Data Center for the facilities being built in the
terminal located in El Alto de Ochomogo, Cartago. This
center will process data, with high-end technology and
under the most stringent international guidelines, which
will ensure seamless operations for the Distribution and
Sales Management and the automation of processes.
The design takes into account technology for
intelligent buildings and conceptualizes the policies
regarding use of clean energy, including external LED
lights and solar power energy.
Other important projects in the distribution
and sales area are also ongoing, which will improve
the electronic infrastructure for the terminals in La
Garita, Barranca, Liberia, El Alto and Turrialba, with
the incorporation of structured cable, fiber optics and
pipes, improvements in the topology of the network,
the distribution zones, servers and computer centers.
Induction
Improvements on the staff induction
programs
were
implemented,
incorporating
information contained in the Sexual Harassment
Law, Law 7600 and its bylaws, SAS policies, Collective
Conventions, InductionManual and the Code of Ethics.
UVirtual
The virtual college was created in 2011, with
13 online courses, which have been developed using
the knowledge of expert staff in each field.
For the year 2013, Management established
the following courses as mandatory for all staff:
