A change was made from Windows to Web platform to ensure the
continuous support of the product in the face of changes of services from the Banco
Central de Costa Rica (BCCR) and to have the hours available for adaptivemaintenance
that the business processes demand for such services.
Also, this allows local providers and those from abroad to use SINPE for
payments to RECOPE. Part of the funds received for fuel sales are deposited in these
accounts. Hence, the company is ready to address the increase inmovements in these
accounts with the PetroWeb project, as this includes three systems: SINPE (external
[U2]), CGP (internal) and SIG-SAP (internal), which all work together.
In 2014, PetroWeb had a rating of 100 by users of the pilot test. This tool
facilitates the funding of accounts and transferring funds by clients, allowing fuel
purchases in the company Terminals and planning of orders, in real time.
Another business technology route is commanded by the integrated
ERP (Brand SAP) system that supports 10 different processes. This system includes
processes for Sales, Volumetric, Purchasing, Warehousing, Planning, Costs, Accounting,
Fixed Assets, Budget and Treasury, and during 2014 worked was done on developing
the maintenance module; in addition to managing maintenance orders, it will allow
reservations tomay bemade for materials and the integrationwith petty cash for work
orders.
Also, by SIG-SAP management vehicles module in the Hernán Garrón
Building will be possible, which will be part of the solution provided by this
technological tool.
Work was also done regarding the requirements to begin management
for the implementation of the human resources module completing all the main
financial and administrative processes for the company.
Implementation of the Solution Manager module was also executed,
which supports ERP management, to support the module maintenance processes, the
control of incidents and to support the corresponding documentation.
Lastly, the new Data Center for the Distribution and Sales area was
