competitiveness, in September 2014 it opened a modern data center, Tier III certified
by the Uptime Institute; a month later he received from the Data Center Dynamics
LATAM AWARDS 2014 Award in the category of Innovation Micro Data Center.
This modern data center in RECOPE, located in the El Alto Terminal in
Ochomogo, Cartago, wil be used as the alternate center for processing corporate data
and allows ensuring the operations in the Distribution and Sales Department, and it
also operates with the latest technology, created under the most strict international
guidelines.
The award measures the contribution to technology in this type of
engineering field, innovation, leadership and out of the box ideas the data center
industry in Latin America. It is, therefore, an investment that will support RECOPE´S
technological development with special attention to distribution and sales activities.
