older-model storage tanks had to be taken out-
of-service over the same period of study; for this
reason, the total storage capacity in 2015 decreased
by 5.67% in comparison to the previous year; hence
the importance of short, mid and long-term projects,
currently in progress, aimed at ensuring an efficient
and economic supply of fuel in present and future
markets.
It is important to note that the storage capacity in
Moín, at the end of the 2015 period, was 60 storage
tanks; the LPG Horton Spheres and cylinders
account for 335,401 m
3
(2,109,610 bbl) of said
storage.
Even though the installation of additional storage
tanks was indeed commissioned in 2015, several
