Analysis of Total Sales
In 2016, RECOPE’s numerous fuels and
petroleum-based products were in high
demand; total sales as at December 2016
rose to 3,263,072,075 liters in relation
to the previous year, in which sales
amounted to only 3,023,880,487 liters.
Total sales rose by 7.9% in comparison
to 2015. The petroleum based products
with the largest sales volumes were:
gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas
(LPG) and Jet A-1 fuel.
The petroleum products with the largest
sales volumes, in percentage terms,
were: low-sulfur diesel, also known
as Diesel 50 [representing 37.1%
of total sales]; Premium Gasoline
[representing 19.3% of total sales]; Plus
91 [representing 19.20% of total sales];
LPG [representing 9% of total sales]; &
JET-A1 fuel [representing 7.5% of total
sales]. The year-over-year variances of
the above cited petroleum products were
+5.9%, +13.3%, +1.4%, +9.2% and
+10.5%, respectively.
