RECOPE ANNUAL REPORT 2015
The president of RECOPE, in Internal Communication
P-0835-2015, on September 22nd, 2015, gave
notice of the updated Asphalt and Asphalt Emulsion
Procedure to 81 different municipalities and 8 different
municipal councils. In the updated procedure, multiple
internal controls are introduced and perfected to
ensure all public funds derived of these donation are
used as is indicated under current regulations.
DONATIONS OF OBSOLETE MATERIALS
Furthermore, with the President’s approval,
approximately 4 million colones-worth of office
equipment was delivered to seven different Boards
of Education and three Boards of Directors in
accordance with Act No. 8906 (Reform Act No.
8034), published in the official gazette “La Gaceta”
publication number 25 on February 4th, 2011.

In coordination with the Instituto de Fomento
y Asesoría Municiapal (IFAM), the president of
RECOPE authorized the training of personnel in
33 different municipalities across the country, in a
speech held in the auditorium on March 4th, 2015,
on the donation procedure and the proper use of this
resource.
