The first stage of the “Conectados” (Connected)
campaign, which aims to strengthen information
security and information in general, was completed
and evaluated. Subsequently, new material for the
second stage, expected to launch in 2016, was
created.
A chief information security officer was appointed to
the Office of Information Technology (DTI as per its
Spanish acronym) in the company’s Continuity and
Information Safety Policy. Moreover, the first stage
of diagnosis for the establishment of an information
technology management system was completed,
and the Continuity Plan for critical business
processes was effected.
Acquisition of clean products through
PETROWEB purchase platform
In 2014, 18% of the 377 fuel filling stations
registered in the database purchased products
through PETROWEB; a considerable increase in
comparison to the 2% recorded in 2014. This trend
reflects that customers are gradually adjusting to
change. It is expected that, in consideration of the
positive results, more and more customers will
sign up, log in, and make purchases through this
platform.
Petroweb is an official means of payment ratified by
the Legal Department. Therefore, efforts have been
made with other companies to encourage payments
made through the National E-Payment System
(SINPE as per its Spanish acronym) to be processed
through Petroweb.

regards to the vacation request process, the “Libre
Firma” E-signature Software was implemented,
for individual vacation requests and vacations
granted by law, simplifying and automating part
of the process. Moreover, the financial statements
uploaded to Alfresco can now be accessed digitally
through the company’s corporate portal.

the communication between the two data centers,
“Hernán Garrón central building ” and “El Alto de
